About SoloOps Stack

Practical tool research for people running things solo

SoloOps Stack is an independent review site for freelancers and solopreneurs evaluating tools for an online store. The aim is to make the choice easier to understand: what a platform offers, what its published pricing includes, and what you should check before committing.

We are a separate review site, not the software vendor. A product name identifies the product being discussed; it is not our brand or a claim that the vendor owns, certifies or endorses this site.

How we research

For these initial guides, we read vendors' official pricing pages and help documentation, compare the published details against specific solo-business needs, and record the source and access date alongside our findings.

Our research questions are straightforward:

  • Does the platform support the kind of product and buying experience you need?
  • Which published limits could affect that setup?
  • Is the quoted price monthly billing or a monthly equivalent on an annual plan?
  • What other costs or responsibilities should you investigate?
  • What remains unclear in the available documentation?

These guides are documentation-based assessments, not hands-on product tests. We have not established performance benchmarks or interviewed customers for these guides. We do not turn vendor marketing statements into our own test results.

What our recommendations mean

A recommendation is an editorial judgement about fit, based on the criteria explained on that page. It is not a promise that a tool will suit every business, reduce your workload or produce sales.

We discuss tradeoffs as well as strengths. Where something cannot be verified, we flag the gap instead of filling it with a guess. Prices are dated snapshots; check the vendor's current terms before buying.

How this site is intended to make money

The site's intended funding model is affiliate commissions: a qualifying purchase made through an affiliate link can generate a payment to the site operator. This is a commercial relationship, even when the content includes criticism or alternatives.

This site is designed to use affiliate links. When an approved affiliate relationship is active, I earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through those links.

Read our affiliate disclosure for the plain-English explanation. Do not assume that a product mention means the vendor has approved this review.
